Meet Felix, the fox whose tail can't keep a secret
Felix is clever, quick, and a little too good at fibbing. Then one morning his tail starts changing color every time he tells a lie, and everyone in the Whispering Woods can see it.
The Tail That Told the Truth is a warm, funny picture book about honesty, accountability, and how much lighter the truth can feel. It invites children to talk about honesty without fear, at bedtime, in the classroom, or anywhere a good conversation can start.

Meet Jory Perry
Jory Perry is an award-winning children's author and illustrator and the founder of Perry Publishing. He wrote and illustrated The Tail That Told the Truth after watching how deeply children feel moments of truth, hesitation, and accountability, long before they have the words to explain them.
His goal is simple: stories that help children understand what's happening inside them, and help the adults around them slow down, listen, and talk.
Built for real conversations
Every Perry Publishing story is written to be read aloud, talked about, and returned to.
Honesty without fear
Truth-telling is presented as a skill children can practice and grow into, not a rule enforced through shame.
Feelings made visible
Felix's changing tail turns an invisible feeling into something children can see, name, and discuss.
Choices and growth
Children see that mistakes are part of growing, and that making things right takes courage.
